James Seidel understands the recruiting business. After obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1985, James worked in the I/T industry in Australia, New Zealand, England and Toronto before returning to his native British Columbia in early 1990.
Recognizing the opportunity of British Columbia's emerging high technology sector, he selected a position in June of 1990 as a technology recruiter at Holloway Schulz (western Canada's largest search firm at the time) and soon obtained the industry designation of "Certified Personnel Consultant". Within 2 years, he won the annual production award for top consultant in the firm (a distinction he achieved 9 times) and went on to become an international award-winning recruiter. He managed the technical recruiting division for several years before striking out on his own in 2004.
He remains active in the business community and is a frequent speaker, writer and participant in the BC employment scene. His expertise is continually sought by companies across Canada and the United States, and he has secured candidates for clients in 5 provinces and several American states. In his career he has successfully completed over 700 permanent searches and has filled over 150 contract assignments. During these years, James has built an extensive and trusted network of client and candidate contacts, many of whom are recognized business, industry, and subject matter leaders. James takes great pride in his track record in the recruiting industry and continually innovates and expands his network to remain a premiere supplier of talent to the growing list of industries and clients he represents.
